Responsibilities:

Conduct regular health examinations on the residents, document any observations of alterations in their state, and report the results. Ensure that every appropriate nursing procedure is executed.

Following the examination of residents, care plans are developed, implemented, evaluated, and assessed. Oversees the progress of each patient, records their vital signs, and notifies physicians of any referrals that may be required.

Provide residents with care, including any restorative or palliative care that may be required, and coordinate and oversee associated events and activities. The individual executes and offers clarification on predetermined policies, processes, and guidelines.

Responsible for the planning, direction, supervision, and evaluation of the nursing and personal care staff of the unit. Participate in ongoing training and new hire orientation. Assures the Director of Care of any concerns that arise while monitoring the situation and taking notes.
