An opening has been created for a Patient Support Services Manager (Food Services Contract) at Cleveland Clinic London. You will oversee the operations, contracts, and projects that you direct or manage at Cleveland Clinic London (CCL), reporting to the Head of Outpatients.

Food Services, Environmental Services, and Front of House Management comprise the Patient Support Services division. Caregivers within functional areas and the quality of the patient/visitor experience are under the direct supervision of this position.

You will supervise the waste, food services, and patient support services work streams across all sites in collaboration with our food services vendor and other third-party vendors.

What will your duties include?

  • Collaborate with other Managers of Patient Support Services to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
  • Supervise the Food Services contract with inpatient and ambulatory sites to ensure our enterprise-wide strategic plan (with a focus on London) is implemented.
  • The assigned operational administration of other soft services contracts
  • Ensuring that third-party vendors perform at the highest level and in accordance with contractual obligations; overseeing their management.
  • Provide assistance to the department when other departmental administrators are absent.

  • Conducts monthly business evaluations with suppliers in an effort to establish enduring partnerships.

What we need from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree is ideal.
  • Course in hospitality management is favored.
  • Desirable: Advanced First Aid training
  • A Level 4 qualification in health and safety in the workplace is preferred.
  • Preferred is experience supervising newly constructed properties or small clinics.
  • Extensive experience in a variety of roles or comparable advancement in a comparable position is required.
  • Healthcare or hospitality experience is required.
  • Operational expertise that can be used to manage a business continuity plan.
