The position primarily operates from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and the possibility of incorporating night duties as the service evolves.

The Director of Advanced Practice will receive support from the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), who will collaborate with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to deliver direct patient care within a specialized surgical hospital. The ANP will also assist in the achievement of key performance objectives.

The individual in this position will be tasked with the responsibility of providing care for patients who have complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions. Duties of Nurse Practitioner ANP Jobs in London

  • Performs comprehensive physical examinations, conducts in-depth medical histories, and orders imaging tests or other specialized tests as needed for illness evaluation. Analyzes lab data on hospital admissions, new and former clinic patients, and former patients in order to compile a record of the patient’s current health status and formulate an effective treatment strategy.
  • Undertakes and interprets common laboratory, imaging, and other routine diagnostic procedures used to identify pathophysiologic processes, with the ability to detect deviations from the norm.

  • Conducts medication reconciliation and prescribes medications in accordance with policy and the scope of practice for independent prescribers.
