Compensation:
- The starting rate of pay for direct care services is $24.84 per hour, inclusive of any applicable government enhancement subsidies of $3 per hour.
- At $21.84 per hour, compensation for travel time, staff development and education, and team meetings.
- PLUS Fuel Reimbursement: $0.43 per kilometer, as applicable
In addition to paid vacation, part-time employees are eligible to receive 8% instead of benefits.
Cheshire provides development and on-the-job training opportunities. Additionally, CPR (re)certification and emergency first aid are provided by Cheshire.
